Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients consistent with LPN scope of practice
Administer medications and document patient responses accurately
Monitor patient vitals and communicate changes to the care team promptly
Collaborate with RNs, physicians, and allied staff to execute individualized care plans
Assist with admission, transfer, and discharge activities to ensure smooth patient transitions
Maintain accurate clinical documentation and uphold facility policies and safety standards

Qualifications

Valid LPN license (ability to practice in Georgia preferred)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts
Excellent communication skills and a team-first attitude
Ability to pass standard background checks and meet facility immunization requirements

Education

LPN diploma or equivalent practical nursing program completion
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of basic nursing procedures, medication administration, and wound care
Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
Strong assessment and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment
Ability to follow care plans and escalate changes in patient condition appropriately
Good interpersonal skills for patient/family education and teamwork
