Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to residents and patients
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Monitor and record vital signs, reporting any changes promptly
• Document patient care thoroughly in the medical record
• Collaborate with nurses, therapists, and the care team to deliver coordinated care
• Assist residents with activities of daily living, promoting dignity and comfort
• Support infection control practices and maintain a safe care environment

Qualifications

• Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license (state licensure required)
• Completion of an accredited practical nursing program or equivalent
• Current CPR/BLS certification (or willingness to obtain)
• Reliable, caring attitude with strong communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening as required by facility
• Previous LPN experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or similar setting preferred

Education

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing (LPN) program or equivalent diploma

Knowledge & Skills

• Patient assessment and basic clinical skills
• Medication administration and documentation
• Comfortable with electronic medical records and charting
• Strong interpersonal skills and resident-centered care approach
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a busy environment
• Knowledge of infection control and safety protocols
