Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to assigned patients with vigilance and kindness
Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring for patient response
Perform thorough assessments and document changes in condition in the medical record
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to develop and execute patient-centered plans
Educate patients and families with clarity and empathy to support recovery and self-care
Maintain a safe environment by following infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

Current LPN license (practical/vocational nurse) — GA licensure required or eligible
Graduation from an accredited LPN program
Current BLS/CPR certification (or willing to obtain)
Comfortable with medication administration, basic IV knowledge preferred
Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
Previous clinical experience in a hospital or long-term care setting preferred

Education

Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Medication administration and documentation
Wound care basics and infection control practices
Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
Effective communication with patients, families, and clinical teams
Time management and prioritization during busy 12+ hour shifts
