Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate hands-on care to residents, assisting with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs and report changes in condition to the nursing team
Support safe transfers and mobility, using proper body mechanics every time
Maintain accurate resident charts and documentation in the care record
Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean, safe environment
Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families to promote dignity and comfort

Qualifications

Active CNA certification in Pennsylvania or eligible for state reciprocity
Current CPR/BLS certification or ability to obtain upon hire
Comfortable performing patient transfers, personal care, and basic clinical tasks
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
Reliable, punctual, and committed to resident-centered care

Education

High school diploma or equivalent; completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and activities of daily living
Vital signs measurement and documentation
Infection prevention and control practices
Safe lifting and transfer techniques
Familiarity with electronic charting and basic clinical documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced care setting
