Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate direct patient care consistent with LPN scope of practice
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document them in the patient record
Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to the RN or provider
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support coordinated, high-quality care
Assist with admissions, discharges, and transfers in a professional, organized way
Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow facility policies and safety protocols

Qualifications

Active LPN license in Georgia (or eligibility to obtain one)
Current Basic Life Support (BLS/CPR) certification or willingness to obtain
Clinical experience as an LPN is preferred; new grads considered depending on facility needs
Strong communication and teamwork skills with a patient-centered approach
Ability to perform duties for 12.5-hour shifts as reported by the facility

Education

Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma/certificate)

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation
Basic patient assessment and vital sign monitoring
Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate charting
Infection control practices and patient safety standards
Time management and the ability to prioritize in a fast-paced hospital setting
