Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Assess patient condition, monitor vitals and respond to changes promptly
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members to coordinate patient care
Document patient information and care activities clearly in the medical record
Educate patients and families on conditions, treatments and discharge plans
Contribute to a positive, patient-centered environment and support unit goals

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse license for New Hampshire required
Experience or background in Medical Surgical nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; other certifications encouraged
Strong clinical assessment and medication administration skills
Professional communication skills and ability to work well in a team
Ability to participate in orientation and meet facility onboarding requirements

Education

Graduate of an accredited Nursing program (ADN or BSN)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in Med/Surg nursing best practices and patient assessment
Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
Familiarity with electronic medical record charting and documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical setting
Effective patient and family education techniques
Team collaboration and clear clinical communication
