Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on care to residents including assistance with activities of daily living
Monitor and record vital signs, report changes promptly to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers and mobility, always prioritizing patient dignity
Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care
Follow infection control practices to keep patients and coworkers safe
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver person-centered care
Support a clean, comfortable, and safe environment for residents

Qualifications

Current CNA certification in Pennsylvania (required)
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
CPR/BLS certification preferred or willingness to obtain
Up-to-date immunizations and TB screening as required by facility
Ability to pass background check and required screenings
Strong communication skills and a caring attitude toward patients

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completion of state-approved CNA training program and active CNA certification

Knowledge & Skills

Basic patient care and ADL assistance
Vital signs measurement and reporting
Infection control best practices
Safe patient handling and transfer techniques
Teamwork and effective communication with clinical staff
Basic documentation skills; electronic charting experience is a plus
