Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 12.5-hour shifts (specific start/end times and days to be confirmed) - CNA - Acute

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $27 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on patient care for acute care patients
Assist with activities of daily living including hygiene, mobility, and feeding
Monitor and report changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly
Maintain accurate patient records and assist with documentation
Support safe patient transfers and use of assistive devices
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary care team to deliver excellent care
Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and facility policies

Qualifications

Current/state-appropriate CNA certification (or eligible) and active status
Experience or familiarity with acute care settings preferred
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to perform physical tasks associated with patient care and transfers
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification preferred or willing to obtain

Education

High school diploma or GED preferred
Completed CNA training program and certification

Knowledge & Skills

Understanding of acute care patient needs and basic clinical observations
Competence in infection control and patient safety practices
Ability to follow care plans and report clinical changes clearly
Team-oriented mindset with strong interpersonal skills
Time management and prioritization in a fast-paced environment
