Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to Med/Surg patients
Assess patient condition and intervene appropriately to promote recovery
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and follow patient care plans
Administer medications and monitor patient responses with attention to safety
Document patient status, treatments, and progress accurately and timely
Educate patients and families on diagnosis, treatment, and post-discharge care
Support unit efficiency by assisting with admissions, discharges, and transfers

Qualifications

Current Registered Nurse license in New Hampshire or compact license as applicable
Clinical experience or training in medical surgical nursing
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; ACLS and PALS preferred or obtainable
Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
Ability to work 12.5-hour shifts and maintain clinical focus during long blocks
Professional, reliable, and patient-centered approach to care

Education

Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Solid knowledge of medical surgical nursing principles and best practices
Skilled in medication administration, IV therapy, and wound care
Familiarity with electronic medical records and accurate documentation
Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast paced environment
Excellent teamwork and patient advocacy skills
