Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: 5-hour shifts; specific start/end times and days to be confirmed; orientation required

Candidate Pay Rate: $25 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Greet patients and provide a warm, professional first impression
Take and record vital signs accurately and efficiently
Assist providers with exams and basic clinical procedures
Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as needed
Document patient information and maintain accurate electronic health records
Coordinate patient flow, referrals, and follow-up appointments
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe clinical environment

Qualifications

Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program or equivalent experience
Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) or Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) preferred
BLS/CPR certification required or willingness to obtain
Phlebotomy experience preferred
Excellent communication skills and a patient-centered approach
Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced outpatient clinic

Education

High school diploma or GED required; completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Comfortable using electronic health record systems and documenting accurately
Strong skills in taking vitals, patient intake, and clinical procedures
Knowledge of infection control and HIPAA privacy practices
Good organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multitask while maintaining a calm, professional demeanor
