Roles & Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living including bathing and dressing to preserve dignity and comfort
Take and record vital signs, providing essential data to nurses and providers for care decisions
Respond promptly to resident calls and provide compassionate bedside care
Observe and report skin integrity changes, perform turning and repositioning to prevent pressure injuries
Safely transfer residents to bed, chair, or wheelchair and assist with mobility
Maintain cleanliness in resident care areas, change sheets, and restock supplies to ensure a safe, welcoming environment

Qualifications

Current California Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license required
Current CPR certification required
Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in English (reading, writing, speaking, comprehending)
Ability to work under pressure and collaborate with residents, families, and long-term care staff

Education

Current California CNA license
Current CPR certification

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs)
Skilled in taking and documenting vital signs
Experienced in safe patient transfer techniques
Knowledgeable in skin integrity observation and prevention
Able to perform turning and repositioning
Comfortable answering resident calls and providing bedside care
Capable of room/linen maintenance and restocking supplies

Benefits

Sign-on bonus: $1,500
Compensation structure with 30 pay increments to reward up to 30 years of relevant experience
