Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM NOC, schedule varies

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $22 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct, compassionate care to residents, focusing on dignity and comfort
Assist patients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, and toileting
Measure and record vital signs accurately and report changes promptly
Support safe patient transfers and use proper body mechanics
Communicate resident status and care needs clearly to nursing staff and supervisors
Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable environment for residents
Follow infection control, safety, and facility policies consistently
Document care and observations in a timely and accurate manner

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification / completion of an approved CNA program
Active CNA credential or state registry as required for Pennsylvania
Comfortable working the night shift (11:00 PM - 7:00 AM)
Strong communication, teamwork, and patient-centered care skills
Current CPR/BLS certification preferred

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an approved CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Hands-on patient care and assistance with ADLs
Accurate vital sign measurement and basic clinical observations
Infection control practices and safe work procedures
Basic documentation and charting skills
Safe lifting and transfer techniques
Compassionate bedside manner and strong observational skills
Ability to follow care plans and communicate effectively with the care team
