Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to patients in a hospital setting
• Assess patient condition, monitor vital signs, and report changes promptly
• Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
• Document patient care and clinical observations in the electronic health record
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate patient care plans
• Educate patients and families on condition, treatment, and discharge instructions
• Maintain infection control and safety standards to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse license valid in Pennsylvania
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required
• Previous acute care or hospital nursing experience preferred
• Comfortable with electronic documentation and basic clinical technology
• Ability to work flexible, as-needed per-diem shifts and adapt to changing assignments
• Must be able to pass standard background check and drug screening as required by facility

Education

• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN); BSN preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong patient assessment and clinical judgment skills
• Medication administration and IV therapy knowledge
• Proficient documentation and charting in an electronic health record
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
• Time management and ability to prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Familiarity with infection control protocols and patient safety practices
