Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on nursing care to patients in accordance with physician orders and facility policies
Administer medications and treatments safely and document all care accurately
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow individualized patient care plans
Monitor patient status and report changes promptly to charge nurses and providers
Educate patients and families about care plans, medications, and discharge instructions
Support safe patient transfers, admissions, and discharges while maintaining dignity and respect
Participate in unit-based quality improvement initiatives and safety practices

Qualifications

Current and unrestricted LPN license in Georgia
Active Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts and adapting to unit needs
Strong clinical assessment skills and reliable medication administration
Clear background check and any facility-required health screenings or immunizations

Education

Practical Nursing diploma or vocational nursing certificate (LPN)

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in basic nursing procedures and documentation
Strong communication skills with patients, families, and interdisciplinary teams
Good time management and ability to prioritize in a busy setting
Knowledge of infection control and patient safety best practices
Ability to use electronic medical record systems and follow clinical protocols
