Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to assigned residents
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
- Assess, monitor and document residents’ clinical status and vital signs
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and follow care plans
- Communicate clearly with residents and families to support positive outcomes
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
Qualifications
- Valid LPN license in Pennsylvania (required)
- Completion of an accredited LPN/LVN program
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred or willing to obtain
- Ability to perform typical LPN duties including medication administration and documentation
- Strong communication skills and a team-oriented mindset
- Previous long-term care or clinical nursing experience is a plus
Education
- Graduate of an accredited LPN/LVN program
- High school diploma or GED
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in medication administration and basic nursing procedures
- Knowledge of infection control best practices
- Comfortable with electronic medical records and documentation
- Strong observational skills for monitoring resident condition changes
- Able to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced clinical environment
