Location: Kearney, Nebraska

Start Date: 05-31-2026

End Date: 08-30-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM start, 8-hour or 10-hour shifts with one weeknight call per week until 7:00 AM the next morning and three 24-hour weekend call shifts per month

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $50 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Scrub independently on cranial procedures and neuro-trauma cases
Assist with orthopedic trauma and total joint procedures using advanced robotics
Prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is ready for a variety of surgical cases
Collaborate with surgeons and the care team to maintain patient safety and smooth case flow
Respond promptly to call shifts within a 15-minute window to support urgent needs

Qualifications

Current CST certification preferred but not required
BLS certification required
Strong experience scrubbing orthopedic trauma and total joint cases
Ability to independently perform cranial procedures
Comfortable working in a fast-paced Level II trauma environment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in scrubbing for neuro, ortho trauma, and general OR procedures
Familiarity with DaVinci robotics, Mako, Stealth, and Scopis systems
Strong work ethic with a willingness to speak up for patient safety
Flexible and adaptable to changing needs and call schedules
