End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, block scheduling, every third weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate one-on-one care to laboring mothers and their newborns
Monitor and titrate critical medications including Magnesium and Oxytocin
Support families through the beautiful journey of childbirth and postpartum recovery
Collaborate with providers to ensure safe deliveries and positive outcomes
Circulate during C-sections to advocate for baby safety
Float to medical-surgical and emergency departments when needed to support the broader care team

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Minimum 2 years of Labor and Delivery experience
Comfortable working independently in a rural hospital setting

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of Labor and Delivery, Postpartum, and Newborn care
Experience with fetal monitoring systems and neonatal respiratory support
Ability to titrate drips and respond quickly to changing patient needs
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Adaptability to limited resources and distance from higher-level NICU care
