Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with rotating weeknight and weekend call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties
Collaborate with surgeons and the OR team to ensure smooth case flow
Prepare patients and operating rooms for procedures including robotics cases
Respond to call within 30 minutes to support urgent surgical needs
Float between College Station and Bryan campuses to support team needs
Maintain accurate documentation using the Surgical Information Systems EMR

Qualifications

Active RN license in Texas or compact license
BLS certification required
Minimum 2-3 years of OR experience
Previous travel experience required
Robotics Xi experience strongly preferred
Trauma experience is a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of general, GYN, ortho, ENT, and robotics procedures
Comfortable with a wide case volume ranging from 5-30 cases daily
Ability to adapt quickly to new EMR systems
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Ready to handle occasional minor trauma cases while on call
