Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Float between MedSurg Tele and PCU units providing exceptional patient care
Manage and titrate cardiac drips including Heparin, Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitro, Dopamine, Dobutamine, and Insulin
Interpret cardiac rhythms and respond appropriately to patient needs
Care for post-cardiac cath, post-MI, and CABG patients in stepdown settings
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality care
Provide compassionate nursing care to geriatric and orthopedic patients across both campuses

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience
Strong dysrhythmia interpretation skills
Comfortable managing multiple cardiac and critical drips

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitoring
Titration of cardiac and vasoactive medications
Post-procedural care including groin site management
BiPAP, CPAP, and heated high-flow oxygen management
Flexibility to float between multiple units and campuses
