Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to oncology and telemetry patients on a 32-bed unit
Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret EKGs using Phillips telemetry equipment
Administer chemotherapy treatments and manage complex medication regimens
Collaborate with an oncology resource RN and supportive PCT team to maintain excellent 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratios
Float to other MedSurg/Tele units as needed while providing consistent, patient-centered care
Complete skills validation including Foley catheter insertion and central line dressing changes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Chemo certification preferred
Cerner EMR experience
Strong sterile technique and clinical competency in core nursing skills

Knowledge & Skills

Oncology and telemetry patient care expertise
Cardiac rhythm interpretation and EKG analysis
Bipap and Cpap ventilator management
Sterile field maintenance and infection prevention
Collaborative teamwork with hospitalists, RT, pharmacy, and SWAT IV teams
