Location: Baudette, Minnesota

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and 3rd holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate care across both MedSurg and Emergency Department settings
Assess, admit, discharge, and transfer patients with confidence and skill
Titrate critical medications including insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, and levophed
Respond swiftly to codes for cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis emergencies
Start IVs, manage PICC lines and ports, and perform EKGs independently
Collaborate with minimal staffing while maintaining exceptional patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications
Proven ER experience required to float confidently between units
Comfortable working independently with minimal support staff
Strong assessment and medication titration skills
Experience with Meditech EMR preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Med/Surg and Emergency nursing expertise
Patient assessment and medication titration
Ability to respond to traumas and participate in critical codes
Understanding of EMTALA regulations and flight transport coordination
Reading and documenting cardiac strips on Mindray monitors
