Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Wednesday-Sunday, 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide specialized, compassionate care to our tiniest patients in a Level III NICU
Monitor and manage ventilators and central lines with confidence and precision
Collaborate with OB/GYNs, Neonatologists, and Maternal-Fetal Medicine specialists
Float to Mother-Baby or L&D units to support newborns and families during their most important moments
Apply critical thinking and multi-tasking skills to deliver safe, high-quality neonatal care
Follow AWHONN/NANN staffing guidelines to ensure every baby receives individualized attention

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and NRP certifications required
Minimum three years of NICU nursing experience
Strong communication, critical thinking, and independent work skills
Valid driver's license at time of submittal
Willingness to work every other weekend and occasional holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Ventilator management and central line care
Neonatal assessment and family-centered care
Floating comfortably between NICU, Mother-Baby, and L&D
Working within AWHONN/NANN staffing ratios
Maintaining professionalism under a strict no-artificial-nails policy
