Location: Lakewood, Colorado

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Variable start times between 7:30 AM - 11:00 AM, primarily covering 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, with on-call requirements 1 night every 6 weeks including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $57 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional Phase 1 and Phase 2 recovery care to post-surgical patients
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond quickly to any changes in patient condition
Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and the care team to ensure seamless patient transitions
Support patients through their most vulnerable moments with compassion and expertise
Float to surgery center as needed to expand your skills and impact more lives

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications required
ED or ICU experience strongly preferred
Epic EMR experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

PACU nursing expertise with strong assessment skills
Comfort managing ortho, trauma, cardiac, urology, pulmonary, and GI cases
Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips
Experience recovering ICU patients in the PACU setting
Strong communication and teamwork abilities
