Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunch

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to diverse patients including those with COVID, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-surgical needs
Interpret telemetry strips and document findings each shift to ensure patient safety
Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Float to East Campus and PCU units when qualified, expanding your clinical expertise
Support patients through their surgical recovery journey with skilled nursing care
Maintain accurate documentation using Cerner electronic health records

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Experience reading basic telemetry strips
Background in general and orthopedic surgical patient care preferred
Familiarity with CVA and TIA patient populations
Cerner experience recommended

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry strip interpretation and monitoring
MedSurg/Tele patient care expertise
Post-surgical recovery support
Electronic health record documentation
Collaborative care coordination
