Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult and geriatric patients across medical-surgical and telemetry units
Monitor cardiac rhythms and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
Administer medications including heparin drips and manage titratable drips safely
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver holistic patient care
Float within the 60-mile zone to support various facilities and specialties as needed
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes

Qualifications

Active RN license in Kansas or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of MS-Tele experience within the last 3 years
Preferred neuro experience and familiarity with Alaris pumps and EPIC
Ability to float within a 60-mile radius and adapt to various patient acuities

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac monitoring and telemetry interpretation skills
Experience with diverse patient populations including cardiac, neuro, ortho, oncology, and renal
Comfortable floating between ICU holds, PCU, and MS-Tele units
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Flexible and adaptable to changing assignments and schedules
