Location: Colorado Springs, Colorado

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 9:00 AM - 9:30 PM, with approximately 120 hours of call per contract in rotation with staff

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $66 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional perioperative care across a variety of surgical specialties including General, ENT, Neuro, Spine, Ortho, and Robotics
Collaborate with surgeons and the surgical team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Respond to trauma and neuro cases with confidence and expertise
Serve as a reliable resource during call rotations, providing critical support when needed most
Maintain accurate documentation in Epic while delivering compassionate, patient-centered care

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact license
BLS certification required
Proven experience in Trauma and Neuro within the operating room
Charge nurse experience preferred but not required
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of OR protocols and sterile technique
Comfortable with robotic-assisted procedures and advanced surgical technology
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to remain calm and focused during high-acuity trauma cases
Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records
