Location: Merced, California

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM or 10-hour shifts available

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional outpatient physical therapy services to diverse patient populations
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create personalized treatment plans
Support patients through their rehabilitation journey with compassion and expertise
Float between inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings as needed
Contribute to early mobility programs and stroke-certified care initiatives

Qualifications

Current California Physical Therapist license required
BLS certification required
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Willingness to float across multiple care settings
Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Knowledge & Skills

Outpatient therapy expertise across pediatric to geriatric populations
Orthopedic, neurological, and pulmonary rehabilitation knowledge
Home health experience a plus
Ability to work collaboratively with therapy aides and licensed staff
Comfortable with 10-hour schedules and weekend rotations
