Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips each shift
Provide compassionate care to patients with CHF, respiratory conditions, GI issues, diabetes, and post-cath needs
Collaborate with the care team on a 49-bed telemetry unit with supportive ratios
Float to East Campus or PCU when qualified to expand your clinical reach
Support patients recovering from total joint replacements and stroke/TIA events

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Ability to pass dysrhythmia exam with 80% score within two attempts
Experience reading basic telemetry strips and some CVA/TIA exposure
Cerner experience recommended due to limited orientation time

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and dysrhythmia interpretation
Comfort with set-rate drips such as Diltiazem/Cardizem
Familiarity with BiPAP, CPAP, and breathing treatments
Strong assessment and documentation skills
Flexibility to float and adapt to different units
