End Date: 09-07-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday depending on weekend needs, with a day off during the week when working weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional physical therapy care across acute care units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, Oncology, and Cardiology
Deliver specialized treatment for ortho and total joint patients to help them regain mobility and independence
Support ventilated patients in the ICU with skilled respiratory therapy interventions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create comprehensive care plans
Document patient progress using Cerner EMR system
Adapt treatment approaches to meet the unique needs of each patient population

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapy license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, and ICU care
Experience working with ventilated patients
Comfortable treating diverse patient populations including MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with Cerner electronic medical records
Expertise in acute care physical therapy across multiple specialties
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Ability to work independently while being part of a supportive team
