Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM and 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every other weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $81 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to laboring mothers and newborns in a 15-bed LDRP unit
Monitor and interpret fetal strips with precision and critical thinking
Titrate medications including Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium drips
Float to Med-Surg and ER units as needed to support hospital-wide care
Collaborate with CNAs and surgical techs to ensure seamless patient support
Follow AWHONN guidelines and quality metrics to deliver exceptional outcomes

Qualifications

Active RN license in North Dakota or compact state
BLS certification required
ACLS, NRP, and STABLE preferred
Previous travel experience preferred
Ability to read and interpret fetal monitoring strips
Strong critical thinking and adaptability skills

Knowledge & Skills

Fetal monitoring and strip interpretation
Titration of Pitocin, insulin, and magnesium
Critical thinking and quality metric adherence
Meditech EMR proficiency
Philips telemetry monitoring experience
Flexibility to float across hospital units
