Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 6:30 PM and 6:30 PM - 6:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to adult patients with cardiac, vascular, and respiratory conditions
Titrate and manage critical drips including Heparin, Nitro, Dopamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone, and insulin
Monitor and interpret telemetry strips for patients requiring continuous cardiac observation
Manage arterial lines and provide specialized PCU-level nursing interventions
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient experiences
Float to MedSurg or ICU as needed while maintaining PCU-level patient care standards

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Competency in arterial line management
Ability to pass skills-based exam with 90% or higher during orientation
Strong communication skills and adaptability to feedback
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry monitoring and strip interpretation
Drip titration for cardiac and vasoactive medications
Arterial line management
High-flow oxygen therapy support
Patient experience focus and medication communication
Cultural competency with diverse patient populations
