Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Location: Bryan, Texas

Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Rotating shifts, 40 hours per week including weekends, holidays, and on-call requirements
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform diverse nuclear medicine studies including cardiac, HIDA, bone scans, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung, brain death, and DAT scans
- Start and manage IVs to ensure smooth patient procedures
- Float between Bryan and College Station campuses to support seamless patient care
- Operate and maintain the Siemens Symbia T6 scanner with precision
- Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare teams to deliver accurate diagnostic imaging
- Document studies using Meditech, Fuji Synapse PACS, and NMIS systems
Qualifications
- Current ARRT (N) or NMTCB (CNMT) certification required
- Active MRT license in Texas
- BLS certification
- IV start experience
- Willingness to float between nearby campuses as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Nuclear medicine imaging techniques and protocols
- Cardiac, HIDA, bone, gastric emptying, GI bleed, lung, brain death, and DAT scan procedures
- Siemens Symbia T6 scanner operation
- Meditech, Fuji Synapse PACS, and NMIS systems
- Strong IV insertion skills
- Excellent patient care and communication abilities
