Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, patient-centered care as a Licensed Practical Nurse on a 12.5-hour shift
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately, documenting per facility policy
Monitor patient status and communicate changes promptly to the care team
Support patient comfort and dignity — engage with patients and families with empathy
Collaborate with RNs, providers, and support staff to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate, timely charting and follow infection control and safety protocols

Qualifications

Active LPN license (eligible to practice in Georgia)
Current basic life support (BLS) certification or willingness to obtain
Comfortable working 12.5-hour clinical shifts
Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-focused hospital environment
Professional, dependable, and patient-focused attitude

Education

LPN diploma or practical nursing program graduate
High school diploma or GED

Knowledge & Skills

Medication administration and documentation best practices
Vital signs assessment and basic patient monitoring
Wound care basics and common clinical procedures for LPN practice
Electronic medical record (EMR) familiarity — quick learner if system is new
Time management skills for busy 12.5-hour shifts
