Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, hands-on personal care to residents and patients including assistance with activities of daily living
Take and record vital signs accurately and promptly, reporting any changes to the nursing team
Assist with safe transfers, ambulation, and positioning to promote mobility and comfort
Maintain clear, timely documentation of care and patient interactions
Support the interdisciplinary team by communicating observations and participating in care planning
Help maintain a clean, safe environment and follow infection control protocols

Qualifications

Valid CNA certification and active listing on the Pennsylvania nurse aide registry
Completion of a state-approved CNA training program
Current CPR/BLS certification or willingness to obtain upon hire
Ability to pass background checks, TB screening, and required facility onboarding
Reliable, compassionate, and able to work effectively as part of a care team

Education

High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an accredited CNA training program

Knowledge & Skills

Strong fundamentals in patient care and ADLs
Ability to take and accurately record vital signs
Basic understanding of infection prevention and safety procedures
Good communication skills with patients, families, and team members
Time management and the ability to prioritize patient needs
Familiarity with electronic charting is a plus
