Contract Type: Per-Diem

Shift Type: Per diem, 8-hour shifts (exact start/end times vary by assignment; schedule set by facility needs)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, safe patient care that promotes dignity and comfort
Administer medications and treatments accurately and document per policy
Monitor and record vital signs, reporting changes promptly to the care team
Assist with activities of daily living and support patient mobility
Collaborate with nurses and interdisciplinary staff to deliver coordinated care
Maintain accurate, timely charting and care documentation
Follow infection control, safety protocols, and facility procedures

Qualifications

Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Pennsylvania
Current CPR/BLS certification
Comfortable working in fast-paced clinical settings with a patient-first mindset
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Previous experience in long-term care or skilled nursing preferred

Education

Graduation from an accredited practical nursing program (LPN diploma or equivalent)

Knowledge & Skills

Strong clinical assessment and observation skills
Medication administration and documentation proficiency
Familiarity with electronic health records and basic charting
Knowledge of infection control standards and safety practices
Ability to prioritize tasks and work collaboratively under direction
