Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess patients across the lifespan — from infants to geriatrics — and develop individualized nursing care plans
• Perform nursing diagnoses and implement evidence-based interventions to improve patient outcomes
• Provide clinical leadership by collaborating with ancillary staff and other members of the care team
• Coordinate and communicate patient needs with families and interdisciplinary teams
• Maintain professional nursing standards in documentation, safety, and quality of care
• Develop systems of care for assigned patient populations and participate in continuous improvement efforts
• Educate patients and families about conditions, treatments, and preventive care to promote recovery and health

Qualifications

• Active Oklahoma RN license (Compact permitted) — must be active at time of submission
• BLS (AHA) certification required
• NIH (NIHSS) certification required (link provided by employer for recertification)
• Travel RN submission required for this specific traveler role
• Comfortable providing care across the lifespan: pediatric, adult, and geriatric populations
• Strong teamwork and leadership abilities; experience coordinating with ancillary services
