Location: Omaha, NE

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 7:00 PM or 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM), every other weekend, every third holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality nursing care to PCU patients with cardiac, neurological, and medical conditions
Monitor and titrate critical drips including Cardizem, beta blockers, and seizure medications
Continuously monitor telemetry and EEG for changes in patient status
Collaborate with charge nurses, patient care techs, and the interdisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes
Thrive in a fast-paced environment using critical thinking and strong communication skills

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska (or compact state) required
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required at time of submission
Driver's license required for mileage verification
Minimum 1 year of PCU experience strongly preferred
Willingness to float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab as needed

Knowledge & Skills

Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Positive attitude and adaptability in a high-acuity setting
Proficiency in cardiac monitoring, drip titration, and patient education
