Location: Dickinson, ND

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM days and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM nights, every 3rd weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $65 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform respiratory therapy assessments and treatments for patients of all ages from neonate to geriatric
Conduct arterial blood gas (ABG) draws, analysis, and EKG testing
Manage mechanical ventilation using PB980, Hamilton C1, and V60 bipap
Provide emergency respiratory support in the ER and cover inpatient and outpatient areas
Collaborate with the healthcare team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active North Dakota Respiratory Therapy License required at submission
CRT or RRT (RRT preferred), BLS, ACLS required
PALS and NRP preferred
Minimum 1 year of respiratory therapy experience
Ability to work independently and handle being the only RT on shift
Willingness to accept a 13-week travel assignment

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ABG collection and analysis
Experience with EKG interpretation
Skilled in Meditech EMR
Competent with mechanical ventilators (PB980, Hamilton C1, V60 bipap)
Strong independent decision-making and adaptability
