LPN/LVN (License Practical Nurse)

Location: Breckenridge, MN

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 8-hour shifts: Days (6:00 AM - 2:30 PM), Evenings (2:00 PM - 10:30 PM), Nights (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM). Every other weekend and holiday required.

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $46 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care to residents with chronic conditions like CHF, COPD, and Alzheimer's
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, including minimal IV meds
Monitor vital signs and report changes to the Charge Nurse
Assist with daily living activities and maintain a home-like environment
Collaborate with a strong team dedicated to quality care
Maintain accurate documentation using PointClickCare EMR

Qualifications

Current LPN license in Minnesota required
BLS certification from American Heart Association
At least 1 year of long-term care experience preferred
Strong teamwork and communication skills
Ability to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EMR systems, specifically PointClickCare
Understanding of geriatric care for conditions like diabetes and Parkinson's
Basic IV medication administration skills
Adaptability to a cycle schedule and fast-paced environment
