Location: Baudette, MN

Start Date: 06-29-2026

End Date: 09-28-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day/night shifts, 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM or 6:45 PM - 7:15 AM, every 3rd weekend and holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Admit, discharge, and transfer patients with compassion and efficiency
Titrate medications and start IVs to manage critical conditions
Work with PICC lines and ports for specialized patient care
Participate actively in codes: cardiorespiratory, stroke, and sepsis responses
Respond to traumas and stabilize patients for transport if needed
Float seamlessly between Med Surg and ER departments as patient volume demands

Qualifications

Active RN license in Minnesota
BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications (required)
Minimum of 1-2 years of ER experience (must have)
Ability to work independently with minimal staff and communicate directly with hospitalists

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in IV start, titration of drips (insulin, amiodarone, cardizem, levophed)
Experience with Meditech EMR
Ability to read and document telemetry strips
Knowledge of EMTALA regulations and flight transport procedures
