Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts; specific schedule provided by hospital upon interview submission

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform diagnostic imaging procedures using CT and fluoroscopy equipment
Prepare and position patients for exams, ensuring comfort and safety
Operate Philips ipatient 64 and big bore 16 scanners with precision
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver accurate results
Maintain equipment and inventory, adhering to infection control standards
Adapt quickly in a fast-paced environment covering OR, ER, and outpatient settings

Qualifications

Must have CT experience
Current BLS certification through American Heart Association
ARRT certification in Radiography
Fluoroscopy permit required through the state of California
2 years of experience preferred; first-time travelers considered
Level II Trauma experience is a plus but not required

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in Cerner EMR system
Experience with Philips ipatient 64 and big bore 16 CT scanners
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and patient care skills
Self-starter ready to hit the ground running
