Location: Chandler, Arizona

Start Date: 07-06-2026

End Date: 10-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to neuro post-surgical patients
Monitor telemetry and interpret EKGs for dysrhythmias
Assess and manage patients post-crani, spine surgery, and CVAs
Collaborate with charge nurses, clinical supervisors, and PCTs
Maintain sterile field and ensure infection control
Administer medications and treatments as ordered
Document patient progress and communicate with multidisciplinary team

Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry and neuro nursing experience
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to pass a dysrhythmia exam within 48 hours of offer
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
Strong sterile technique skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia monitoring
Knowledge of neuro post-surgical care including craniotomy and spine patients
Experience with central telemetry monitoring systems
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, 28-bed unit
