Location: Dodge City, Kansas

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, rotating days including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $42 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform a full range of laboratory tests in chemistry, hematology, microbiology, and blood bank as a generalist
Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, including EPIC Beaker LIS
Conduct quality control procedures and ensure accurate documentation
Perform venipuncture on rare occasions when needed
Collaborate with the healthcare team to deliver timely and accurate results

Qualifications

Valid MLT or MLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of generalist experience in a clinical lab setting
BLS certification preferred (patient contact may occur)
Proficiency with EPIC Beaker laboratory information system
Ability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as scheduled

Education

Associate's degree in Medical Laboratory Technology or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of clinical laboratory procedures and safety protocols
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Basic phlebotomy skills (training provided if needed)
