Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour night shifts (7:00 PM - 7:00 AM), including weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide high-quality nursing care to PCU/IMC patients across multiple facilities within Zone 1
Float seamlessly between units including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Ortho, and more
Titrate and manage cardiac drips, insulin, ativan, and heparin with confidence
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Adapt quickly to different unit environments and patient populations

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent PCU/IMC nursing experience
Active and unrestricted RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Must be comfortable floating within a 60-mile radius zone
Epic experience preferred; neuro experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in managing cardiac drips (Dopamine, Dobutamine, Cardizem, Amiodarone) and titrating drips
Expertise in insulin and ativan administration
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills for diverse patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
