Roles & Responsibilities

• Oversee both the Cath Lab and ICU departments, ensuring high-quality patient care and staff performance
• Pre and post procedure care, including bedside support and moderate sedation
• Enhance nursing competency and build a positive, collaborative unit culture
• Manage pre/recovery bays and coordinate with interdisciplinary teams
• Titrate vasoactive drips and monitor critical patients in ICU
• Lead charge nurse duties, occasionally taking patient assignments as needed
• Float to assist other departments when required, supporting hospital-wide operations

Qualifications

• Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience, with at least 1 year in a management or clinical leadership role
• 1 year of experience supervising or leading teams in a healthcare setting
• Willingness to obtain or hold required certifications: ACLS, BLS, RCIS, NIHSS, TNCC, CRRT
• Demonstrated ability to build culture and enhance nursing competency

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in critical care, telemetry, and cardiac/cath lab nursing
• Strong leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills
• Proficiency in titration of vasoactive and sedative medications
• Ability to interpret telemetry strips and monitor intraprocedurally
• Experience with pre/post procedure management and moderate sedation
