Location: Omaha, NE

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Various 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including every other weekend; self-scheduling available

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide direct patient care for oncology, PCU, and med/surg patients
Monitor vital signs, hemodynamics, and administer medications including chemotherapy
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team including PT/OT, case managers, and social workers
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and disease management
Ensure hourly rounding and patient satisfaction initiatives

Qualifications

Minimum 1 year of recent PCU/Oncology experience
Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
ONS/ONCC certification required or must obtain during orientation
Chemotherapy certification preferred
Driver's license required for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Strong knowledge of oncology patient care
Proficiency in EPIC EMR
Ability to monitor and manage ventilators and hemodynamic lines
Experience with chemotherapy administration
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
