Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to cardiopulmonary and neuro telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs, recognizing and responding to dysrhythmias promptly
Collaborate with a dedicated team of hospitalists, intensivists, and respiratory therapists
Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
Educate patients and families on their conditions and care plans
Serve as a charge nurse as needed, guiding your team to excellence

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in Telemetry or Neuro (within the past 6 months)
Current and unencumbered RN license in Arizona or compact state
BLS and ACLS certifications required
Proficiency in EKG interpretation and centralized telemetry monitoring
Successful completion of Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (max 2 attempts)
Pass a hands-on SIM lab on orientation day

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of cardiac and neurovascular conditions
Skilled in telemetry monitoring, EKG interpretation, and rhythm recognition
Experience with high-flow oxygen and ventilator management
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, patient-centered environment
