Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, includes weekends and holidays as required

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $56 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform arterial blood gas draws and interpret results
Set up and manage biPAP and ventilator support for adult and neonatal patients
Administer nebulizer treatments and assist with conscious sedation
Standby for cardioversion and assist with intubations
Provide respiratory care in a level 2 NICU, including bubble CPAP for infants 32 weeks and up
Collaborate with lead therapists and nursing staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Washington State Respiratory Therapist license
BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications required
RRT or CRT credential
Minimum 1 year of recent NICU experience preferred
Strong ventilator management skills and experience with bubble CPAP

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient in ventilator setup and management (PB 980, Philips V60, Respironics Lumis)
Skilled in drawing ABGs and performing respiratory treatments
Experience with conscious sedation and cardioversion standby
Knowledge of neonatal respiratory care including bubble CPAP
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced inpatient setting
