Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, including weekends and holidays as needed

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide exceptional nursing care to adult and geriatric patients in a dynamic Med Surg/Telemetry float pool
Monitor telemetry and cardiac rhythms, titrating heparin as per protocol
Float across multiple specialties including Cardiac, Neuro, Oncology, Ortho, and more
Adapt quickly to different units and patient populations, ensuring continuity of care
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to infection control standards

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of recent Med Surg/Telemetry experience
Active and unrestricted RN license in Colorado or a compact state
Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
Comfortable floating to multiple facilities within a 60-mile zone
Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as part of a rotating schedule

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of cardiac telemetry and rhythm interpretation
Proficiency in heparin drip titration and IV therapy
Excellent communication and teamwork skills for floating in varied settings
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients with varying acuity
Knowledge of adult and geriatric care best practices
