Location: Bakersfield, California

Start Date: 06-13-2026

End Date: 09-12-2026

Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8-hour day shifts with rotating on-call after 4:30 PM weekdays, rotating weekends and holidays

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $67 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality nuclear medicine procedures including cardiac, SPECT, bone scans, bleed studies, and gastric emptying
Operate GE equipment and utilize Radnet and Merge Unity for image management
Ensure patient safety and comfort during imaging procedures
Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to deliver accurate diagnostic results
Maintain equipment and adhere to radiation safety protocols

Qualifications

At least 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Valid California Nuclear Medicine Technologist License (CA NMTL)
Current BLS certification
Proficiency with GE scanners, Radnet, and Merge Unity

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in nuclear medicine imaging techniques and protocols
Strong patient care and communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Knowledge of radiation safety and quality assurance
